I always keep my promises. That said, I'm often very late with them, but I do deliver. With the new year and the bulk of the post-graduate culture shock behind me (I mean, after the grace period is up and I'm sending checks to Sallie Mae, things are pretty settled, huh?), I give you... daily diary strips! Enjoy. 

I always worry about what I say in my comics being misunderstood--I know I have a tendency to get excited when I'm trying to make a point, to the extent where I often accidentally forget to make it. Normally I don't self-edit much (this is a diary, and I go into it knowing that by the time I get around to posting, I often feel differently), but occasionally I might rephrase things for the sake of clarity. Ta da!

Oh, and another thought. You all know that comic Mallory is an extension or an interpretation of me, and not necessarily reflecting how I think I look at all times, right? Adam pointed out my hair is usually not so curly (not at this length, anyway--rest in peace, Long Hair, and I will see you whenever you decide to start growing again). I just wanted to say I know. I think of Cartoon Mal as having very swirly hair (and almost no figure)!
